What I Do
For many people, retirement can bring a loss of direction and the unsettling question, “Now what?” I knew the feeling all too well. Then I found The Passion Test. It helped me rediscover what truly lights me up – so much so that I became a certified Passion Test Facilitator. In my high-impact workshops, I help retirees and those approaching retirement uncover what really matters to them, and develop actionable, real-world strategies to bring those passions to life. The result? A personalized roadmap to make the second half of life not just meaningful – but extraordinary.
Meet Peter

I guide people—especially those in transition—through The Passion Test and give them practical, actionable tools to create lives of deeper meaning and joy.
After earning my PhD in Community Health Sciences, I spent 35 rewarding years as an epidemiologist at both local and state levels. (Yes, epidemiology is about tracking epidemics and what causes them.) Along the way, I taught at two universities, gave over 200 talks, and published more than 150 scientific articles. It was a wild and wonderful ride.
But after years of loving my work, I found myself in a new chapter where free time felt more like a void than a gift. Then, by chance, I was introduced to The Passion Test—a simple yet powerful process for identifying what truly lights you up. The clarity it gave me was electric. So electric, in fact, that I became a Certified Passion Test Facilitator.
Now retired from full-time epidemiology, I’ve launched a speaking business to help others find the same spark. I guide people—especially those in transition—through The Passion Test and give them practical, actionable tools to create lives of deeper meaning and joy.
I’m also a lifelong learner and adventurer. In recent years, I’ve explored India, Peru, Egypt, and Southeast Asia. I’ve trained as a hypnotherapist, I serve on the board of a national nonprofit, and I still get a thrill from public speaking. I treasure time with family and friends.
I’m in my late 60s now. I figure I only have about 60 good years left. So why not make them spectacular?

Retirement: From Aimless to Awesome
Studies have found that retirement is often linked to losing a sense of purpose in life, leading to feelings of being lost or aimless. This workshop helps current and upcoming retirees chart a clear course toward what truly matters to them, and offers actionable, practical strategies to achieve that. By taking them through The Passion Test, participants will discover: their top 5 passions; ways to overcome obstacles that may prevent them from living their ideal life; the secret to guarantee a more passion-filled life, starting as soon as they finish the workshop.
